The Currency Management services are administered centrally at Armaguard Head Office by a team of expert analysts. The Currency Management product suite consists of:
- Cash Management of ATMs (currently 3,000+) and Financial Institution Branches including forecasting, ordering and cost optimisation
- ATM reconciliation to Host figures (including Card Holder dispute advice)
- ATM cash funding
Comprehensive Currency Processing,
Settlement and Reporting
Armaguard provides complete reconciliation and various settlement options for a broad range of different types of customer cash collections including:
- Commercial Business Deposits (Express Deposits)
- Financial Institution Branch Cash
- ATM Returns
- Foreign Currency
- Note Reader Cassettes
- Retail Deposits.
Armaguard has an unparalleled suite of reports for each product that are designed to provide customers with complete and accurate information, which streamlines reconciliation to financial systems. This reporting is backed by a number of unique product options such as the Armaguard "Prime" and "Part Prime" processes which cut the costs of handling cash for customers.
All cash is authenticated and fitness-sorted to Reserve Bank requirements. The high speed equipment used in Armaguard processing centres is integrated into the cash management system. Armaguard have developed a one-pass solution for all its currency processing operations in its quest to deliver optimal accuracy and productivity.
Retail Businesses and Financial Institutions
Armaguard supplies, collects, transports and processes cash for many different customers from small commercial retailers to the major banks. Armaguard's geographical coverage within Australia is second to none.
Cash collection services can be performed by Armaguard using either armoured or discreet services, depending on location and the volume of cash being handled.
- Armoured services are provided by uniformed and overtly armed personnel transported in an armoured vehicle.
- Discreet or non-armoured services are suitable for collections of low volumes of cash and valuables. Armed guards (concealed firearms) in plain clothes provide this service, which is ideal for smaller retail and commercial environments.
Vending and Safes
Armaguard provides a variety of services involving the collection and processing of takings from vending machines or safes, including:
- Parking meters
- Two Key Safes
- Payphones
- Paystations
- Vending Machines
- Electronic or Note Reader Safes
- Change Dispensers
These services typically involve Armaguard collecting and/or exchanging coin and note vaults. Customers can also deliver these items directly to one of our currency processing centres.
Armaguard have a range of Two Key Safe's which can be installed and rented on a customer premises. Two Key Safe's are controlled using an outer door with a key pad and combination held by the customer and an inner door which can only be opened using two keys (one held by Armaguard). Once currency is deposited into an Armaguard Two Key Safe, the contents are secure and insured.
